Okay, anyone who knows me, knows I don't sell things to people and hating doing that stuff in high school. BUT, Parkland's 2010 Nike gear just came out. It's pretty cool, and you order online. So, just wanted to put this up for anyone who might be interested! John and I have gotten it the last few years and it's pretty high quality.
How to order:
1) Go to www.lidsteamsports.com (you may order through October 18th)
2) Click on "Team Shop."
3) Type in PARKCOMBB2 in the organizational code, then click "Go To Form."
4) Select your merchandise and add it to your shopping cart.
5) When finished shopping, click on "Checkout" and log in or register to have your items sent directly to you.

Sept. 26th, Part II
Alright, the tour resumes!
Here is where the magic happens! Notice the amazing block out curtains. You can't even tell what time of day it is!
And this is the other side of the room. You can't see it from here, but on top of my dresser is definitely the CD player I got for my 9th grade birthday.
Awesome kitchen view #1. Appliances are all 2 years old and the walls are RED! Love my kitchen!
And here is the door to our lovely basement ....
John's mancave is officially in the works. We've got his xbox, N64, and VHS player all ready to go. So the man can play Mario Kart, NBA 2K6, or watch old VHS tapes of 1995 Bulls games that he recorded. We're stacked! We just need somewhere for him to sit! We have a small stool and one of the kitchen chairs down there right now. Our plans are to get a new sofa/chair upstairs this year, and move the ones that are there now to this area. Oh, and in case you were wondering, those are all of John's trophies from 5th grade - senior year of high school. Various sports, choir, and school. Just in case you were wondering.
Here is the other side of the room. Note the Michael Jordan poster in the back! The kitchenette is the old cabinets from upstairs. They painted them and made a cute little kitchenette!
This is our other full bathroom which is located downstairs.
Laundry area
Cute little built-in china cabinet. Wedding pics, Barcelona clocks, college degrees all hang out in this area.
This is a little frame I made of our wedding invitation and our engagement announcement.
Wedding pics and my bouquet on the shelf!
And that's our home!

Sept. 26th
Hi everyone! I decided to start a blog because it seems like every friend has left the CU area except John, Sam, and myself. We wanted to keep everyone updated on our lives!
Married life has been great so far. John is now the main assistant men's basketball coach at Parkland College this year under Nate Mast. He was the second assistant last year and is moving up. He loves it, and they have their first jamboree a week from today. He's also finishing up at Illinois, working on his psych degree. He hates school, but is working to be done with it.
I'm working at Carle Hospital. I work on Rogers 8, which is their cardiac surgical floor. I love it. I'm 5 week into my 10 week orientation. I have a great preceptor and learn so much every day. I'll be switching to nights in October, which will be my permanent position. I hate waking up at 6:15am, it's driving me nuts! I can't wait to work nights because it is slower, not as many doctors or visitors, and I have time to learn. Right now I feel like I'm doing a lot of tasking and working really hard to get everything done on time. On nights you have much more time to sit down and think about all that is going on because it isn't near as busy.
We also have been settling into our house. I love it, it's so fun coming home and hanging out with my best friend everyday. I feel so blessed. We also have some friends/family that hasn't seen our new place, so here's a virtual tour!
Welcome to 308 South Draper! We're renting it from Stephanie and Luke Sherman. We love living in a house, especially after living in so many apartments over the last 5 years!
Here is the view when you walk in the front door. (Thanks to Sam and Ella for the awesome TV.) The two bedrooms and main bathroom is on the right and the living room/dinning area/kitchen are on the left.
This is the upstairs living area room. Thanks to Stacia and Brian for the side table and coffee table, Kristi for the slip cover, Denny and Tammy for the lamps and other side table, and anyone who got us a Target gift card because that went towards the bookcase in the back!
Here is our second bedroom, which we've made into our office/John's study area.
This is the first floor bathroom.
Here the dinning area, looking into the kitchen.
This is one shot of the kitchen. We have our coffee maker (Deshe), our Kitchenaid (Jill & Wayne), our canisters (Momma Kleber & Elizabeth) our mmmeedicine maker (Thomas and Briana), and our Caphlon utensils (Mark & Kim). Because John and I hadn't lived together before we got married and were living with our parents, we had nothing in the sense of kitchen/bathroom items. Wedding gifts were so amazing in this area because practically everything we use was one! So, thanks everyone!
Here is a view of the back of our house. We have a small yard and a little area of concrete, so naturally John wants a basketball hoop. When I was taking my house pictures, I didn't get one of our bedroom and none of the basement for some reason. Those will be up soon!
